Overview & Your Right to Delete
SIG Invoice, operated by AKGaur Technology Solutions, provides users with full control over their account data. If you have registered a cloud account with SIG Invoice, you can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time.
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Once your cloud account is deleted, your account credentials, cloud invoices, client records, and business preferences cannot be restored. Please ensure you have exported any necessary invoice PDFs or records before initiating deletion.
How to Request Account Deletion
We offer two straightforward ways to delete your cloud account: directly inside the mobile application or via email support if you cannot access the app.
1 Method 1 — In-App Deletion (Instant)
The fastest and most direct way to delete your cloud account is directly through the SIG Invoice mobile application:
- Open the SIG Invoice app on your device.
- Navigate to My Account (or your Profile screen).
- Scroll down to the Account Actions section.
- Select Delete Account.
- Review the confirmation warning, enter any required confirmation prompt, and tap Delete My Account.
Upon confirmation, your session is immediately invalidated, and your cloud account records are deleted from our active database.
2 Method 2 — If You Cannot Access the App
If you no longer have access to your device, have uninstalled the app, or encounter difficulty completing the in-app flow, you can request account deletion by emailing our support team:
- Support Email: support@akgaur.com
- Subject Line:
SIG Invoice Account Deletion Request - Sender: Please send the request from the email address registered with your SIG Invoice account whenever possible.
We do not require excessive personal identity documents. However, to protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized deletion of accounts, we may need to verify that you are the legitimate account owner before completing the request. Valid requests will be processed within a reasonable period, subject to applicable legal or security requirements.
Data That Is Permanently Deleted
When your cloud account is deleted, the following data associated with your account is permanently purged from our active systems:
- Account Profile & Identity: User profile, email address, display name, user ID, and associated account records.
- Credentials & Active Sessions: Password hash, stored authentication tokens, and active session authorizations.
- Cloud Invoices & Customers: All cloud-synced invoices, line items, tax computations, customer names, addresses, emails, and contact records.
- Business Settings & Branding: Cloud-saved business profile, tax/GST identifiers, address details, and uploaded business logos.
- Invoice Payments: Invoice-payment tracking records recorded under your account.
- Unfinished Subscription Records: Incomplete, draft (CREATED), or FAILED subscription checkout records.
- Webhook Payloads: Associated stored webhook event payload records.
Data Retained in Minimal Anonymized Form
If you completed a successful PAID subscription transaction prior to account deletion, limited transaction information may be retained in strictly anonymized form:
- Internal transaction record ID
- Plan identifier
- Amount and currency
- Razorpay order ID
- Razorpay payment ID
- Paid status
- Timestamps
Anonymization Safeguards: Personal SIG user association, raw provider payloads, and stored Razorpay signatures are permanently removed according to our backend deletion implementation. Limited transaction information may be retained where reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, audit, payment reconciliation, or legal obligations.
Guest & Local Device Data
Deleting your cloud account removes your data from our cloud infrastructure, but does not automatically delete guest or local invoices stored on your physical device.
If you created local invoices in guest mode, or downloaded files onto your phone, those records reside within your device's local application storage or downloads folder. You can remove them at any time by clearing application data in your device's operating system settings or by uninstalling the SIG Invoice application.
