1. Who We Are
SIG Invoice is an invoicing and billing application operated by AKGaur Technology Solutions ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to transparency regarding how information is collected, processed, stored, and deleted when you use the SIG Invoice mobile application, web properties, and related services.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact us at:
Email: support@akgaur.com
2. Guest and Local Mode
SIG Invoice provides a guest/local mode that does not require an account or sign-in. When you use the application in local mode:
- On-Device Storage: Invoices, customer details, drafts, invoice counters, and local business configuration settings are stored solely in your device's local application storage.
- No Automatic Cloud Upload: Your local records are not automatically uploaded to our backend servers.
- Explicit Import: If you later decide to register or log into a cloud account, you may explicitly choose to import existing local invoices into your cloud account.
- Risk of Local Data Loss: Because local data resides only on your device, it can be permanently lost if you uninstall the application, clear application storage or cache, reset your device, or if the device malfunctions. We encourage users relying on local mode to export and maintain independent copies of important invoices.
3. Cloud Account Information
If you create or log into a cloud account with SIG Invoice, we collect and process account information necessary to administer your account and authenticate access:
- User name or display name
- Email address
- A cryptographically hashed representation of your password (we never store plaintext passwords)
- Unique system account identifier (user ID)
- Subscription plan type, tier, and status information
4. Business Profile Information
To generate invoices reflecting your business identity, cloud account users may save business profile information, which may include:
- Business or trading name
- Goods and Services Tax (GST) or other applicable tax identification numbers
- Physical, postal, or registered business address
- Contact telephone number and business email address
- Business logo image
- Invoice presentation preferences, payment terms, and custom notes
5. Invoice and Customer Information
When creating invoices in a cloud account, you may store information relating to your transactions and clients, including:
- Customer or client name, company name, email address, telephone number, and billing/shipping address
- Customer tax or GST identification numbers
- Invoice line items, descriptions, HSN or SAC codes, unit prices, quantities, discounts, and applied tax percentages or amounts
- Invoice dates, due dates, payment status, and custom invoice notes
- Document presentation metadata and layout configurations
User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have lawful grounds and any necessary consents under applicable data protection laws to input, process, and store your customers' or clients' personal and business information in SIG Invoice.
6. Subscription Payments and Financial Data
Where cloud subscription plans or paid upgrades are purchased through our direct web or payment integration, payment processing is currently handled by third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay.
- Payment Gateway Processing: Your payment credentials—including credit or debit card numbers, CVV codes, bank account details, UPI PINs, and banking passwords—are collected directly by the payment processor through their secure interface. SIG Invoice does not collect, process, or store sensitive banking or payment card credentials.
- Transaction Metadata: The payment processor transmits to SIG Invoice transaction metadata needed to activate and maintain your subscription. This metadata may include transaction identifiers, payment status, order identifiers, currency, amount paid, and transaction timestamps.
7. Advertising & Google AdMob
To keep free features accessible, users on free or ad-supported plans may be shown in-app advertisements served by Google AdMob.
- Launch Configuration: Our launch configuration requests non-personalized advertisements.
- Information Processed by Google: Google Mobile Ads and related SDKs may process device identifiers, IP address, general network and device technical characteristics, diagnostic logs, and ad interaction metrics to deliver ads, prevent fraudulent traffic, and manage ad delivery.
- Consent Management: Where required by applicable privacy laws (such as the European Economic Area or UK regulations), SIG Invoice uses the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to present consent options and allow users to manage privacy preferences.
- Ad-Free Paid Plans: Users who subscribe to an active paid or cloud plan do not request or receive in-app advertisements from our advertising slots while their ad-free entitlement is active.
8. File Access and Document Sharing
SIG Invoice requires access to files only when initiated by your explicit actions:
- Selecting Files: When you choose a business logo or import an invoice/client CSV file, you select the file via the operating system's native document picker. SIG Invoice accesses only the specific file you designate.
- Exporting and Sharing Documents: When you generate an invoice PDF or CSV export, the file is created locally. If you choose to share the document, it is passed to your device's native system share sheet, allowing you to select the destination application (such as email, messaging, or cloud storage). We do not control how external applications process shared files.
9. How We Use Information
We process collected information for legitimate business and operational purposes, including:
- Providing, maintaining, and improving the invoicing, calculation, and document export functionality of SIG Invoice
- Authenticating registered users and securing account access
- Synchronizing invoice data and business profile information for cloud account users
- Processing subscription upgrades and managing account entitlements
- Responding to user support inquiries and technical feedback
- Protecting the integrity, safety, and security of our services and mitigating fraud or abuse
- Complying with applicable legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations
- Displaying advertisements to eligible free-tier users in accordance with applicable consent choices
10. Third-Party Service Providers
We work with trusted infrastructure and service providers to operate SIG Invoice:
- Railway: Provides cloud application hosting, server environment, and managed database infrastructure for our backend services and cloud accounts.
- Razorpay: Processes electronic payment transactions for subscription purchases where applicable.
- Google AdMob & Google UMP: Provides advertising delivery, mediation, and consent management frameworks for free-tier mobile app users.
These service providers process data in locations where they or their downstream infrastructure vendors operate facilities, subject to their respective security standards, privacy agreements, and applicable law.
11. Security Measures
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures where appropriate to protect your information:
- Transport Encryption: HTTPS/TLS is used for network communication between the SIG Invoice application and our cloud backend servers.
- Credential Storage: Authentication tokens are stored using platform secure storage on your mobile device.
- Operational Measures: Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used where appropriate to protect stored account records.
While we apply standard industry practices, no method of electronic transmission over the internet or method of digital storage is completely invulnerable. Users must safeguard their account credentials and device access.
12. Data Retention
We retain cloud account data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you with the SIG Invoice services.
- Account Data: Cloud invoices, client records, business settings, and account profile details are retained during the lifetime of your account.
- Account Deletion: When you initiate an account deletion, associated cloud account data is deleted from our active database systems as described in Section 13.
- Transaction Records: Where a user has completed paid subscription transactions, limited transaction information may be retained where reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, audit, payment reconciliation, or legal obligations.
13. Account Deletion and Data Removal
You have full control over your cloud account and may delete it at any time.
In-App Deletion Path:
Open SIG Invoice → Navigate to My Account → Scroll to Account Actions → Select Delete Account → Confirm your request.
You may also request account deletion via our public account deletion web resource:
https://invoice.akgaur.com/delete-account
When your cloud account deletion request is processed:
- Your account profile, login credentials, and session records are deleted.
- All cloud invoices, customer data, and document records linked to your account are permanently removed.
- Your cloud business settings, preferences, and logo images are deleted.
- Invoice-payment tracking records associated with your account are deleted.
- Created or failed subscription records and associated webhook payload records are deleted.
- For successfully paid subscription records, personal SIG user association, raw provider payloads, and stored Razorpay signatures are permanently removed according to our backend deletion implementation. Limited transaction information (including internal transaction record ID, plan identifier, amount, currency, Razorpay order ID, Razorpay payment ID, paid status, and timestamps) may be retained where reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, audit, payment reconciliation, or legal obligations.
14. Distinction Between Cloud and Local Device Data
Deleting your cloud account removes your data from our cloud servers, but does not automatically erase guest or local invoice records stored locally on your physical device.
To remove local records from your phone or tablet, you can clear the application storage/data in your device's system settings, or uninstall the SIG Invoice application, in accordance with your operating system's procedures.
15. Children's Privacy
SIG Invoice is an invoicing and business administration utility designed for commercial, professional, and business use. The application and services are not designed, marketed, or directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@akgaur.com so we may take appropriate steps to delete such information.
16. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our legal obligations, service features, infrastructure, or regulatory guidelines. When changes are made, the "Effective Date" at the top of this document will be updated. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information regarding our privacy practices.
